Arcadian Opera, renowned for bringing classical grand opera to Stowe using state of the art projections, employ professional singers for the principal roles, a chorus of talented and experience local singers, accompanied by a professional orchestra. As is usual for Arcadian Opera, Madame Butterfly will be sung in an English translation.

 

The performance will begin at 4pm to allow for an hour and a half interval in which to enjoy your picnic in the environs of the theatre situated within Stowe Landscape Gardens.

 

We offer concessionary priced tickets to unwaged people on Universal Credit and current full-time students. Proof of status may be required on entry.

If the weather is inclement ticket holders who have purchased tickets through our website will be advised if the picnic interval is to be cancelled by email on the morning of the day of the performance.
